I visited my first cantina in CDMX and ever since I've been hooked. This is my favorite cantina in Cancun. My favorite dishes so far are the chile relleno de queso and the chicharron placero. My boyfriend loved his torta. Chips and salsa are brought to your table when you sit down and the service is very attentive.

This is our first trip to Mexico and our first meal out. We actually were going to eat at a restaurant in a mall a few blocks away, but it was overpriced and didn't have a Mexican vibe. This place was great. Lots of locals, something we take as a sign of good food. A couple of fútbol games on the TVs, animated conversations and for a while, musicians playing by table sides. The food was good and the beer was cold. The salsas were not timid and the prices were reasonable. They have a special deal, order and drink 5 beers and your food is free! I didn't try to get the "free" food. I wasn't that thirsty.
